Steinway Concert
Tonight was the Yefim Bronfman School of Music All-Steinway concert at Ackerman Auditorium. It was really awesome, minus a little mix-up with the tickets that we had. We had tickets for seats in row L on the left-hand side of the auditorium. But there aren't seats there and no chairs were set up. We asked what we should do at the front desk and they traded in our useless tickets for tickets to the box seats upstairs on second floor behind the pianist. In those seats we could see Bronfman's hands really well, but the sound wasn't as good as if we'd sat on the floor. But in any case, he was a really good pianist and he even did two encores for us, so that was awesome!!

I'm glad you had fun. I heard the tickets were expensive, though. Was it worth it?
ReplyDeletesounds like a great concert... lucky you again.
ReplyDeleteThe student tickets were $10, so yes, it was definitely worth it!
