Eggs are awesome. I love eating eggs, especially scrambled eggs. Usually after World Religions I convince Bryn that we should go to the cafe and see if there's scrambled eggs. Today I once again convinced her. The cafe had fried eggs. I got one. Then I also succumbed to the luring of an egg salad sandwich. Almost as good as scrambled eggs!
So we're babysitting Tucker and Coral again. They were a little crazy tonight. The craziness included the kids running all around the house (both clothed and unclothed) and fighting during worship/Quiet Time. So here's the story: While we were listening to an Uncle Dan and Aunt Carol (Aunt Sue's substitute) story, Tuck was playing with the antenna on the stereo. Coral thought it looked interesting and went over to investigate. Tuck wasn't pleased about Coral wanting to join in. Coral looked to me to advocate for her. I didn't. She stuck her bottom lip out. I knew what she was planning. But even then I didn't jump into the middle of their argument. When Coral saw I wasn't about to get involved, she stopped pouting and worked out a deal with Tucker. I wasn't too impressed with Tucker trying to egg Coral on, but I was pretty happy with myself for standing back and letting them work their troubles out on their own. I was even prouder of Coral for not crying and for figuring out a way to work her problem out with Tuck.
Good for Coral-- and good for you! Eggs aren't my thing, but I'm glad someone likes them.
