Breadia
I made a comment on one of Janelle's posts yesterday and the word verification was "breadia." That got me thinking, if there was such a thing as a breadia on this earth, what would it be? I've thought about this extensively in the past 24 hours and my favourite idea that I've come up with is that breadia is actually Breadia, a land of bread. This land probably exists in Europe (every time I go there I end up eating bread for the majority of the trip) and is remarkably similar to the Chocolate Room in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because everything is edible, although made out of bread instead of chocolate. I think I could really like hanging out for awhile in Breadia, as long as there was a little bit of cheese every here and there through the land. Bread and cheese really do belong together. Probably white grape juice should be part of the landscape, too. Yes, I'm pretty sure the rivers contain white grape juice and the trees are filled with different types of cheese. Everything else is made of bread. I have a feeling this land lies quite close to France. Maybe next time I'm in Europe I should try to find my way there. And now I'm off to make a bread and cheese sandwich. Sadly the closest thing to white grape juice I've got in my fridge is no-pulp orange juice. I guess that will have to do . . .

i would like to come with you for an initial visit
ReplyDeletei thought that green grapes might work also for a taste variant to the bread.
if not a pickle or two would be fine
I love those word verification thing. I think you're right. It's the REAL breadbasket of the world. Bread and cheese and white grape juice sound lovely... maybe a gentle volcano of soup... If you ever find it, take me there!
